Dessert Policy

**1. General Policy Overview**

- We strive to create custom cakes that meet your specific design and flavor preferences. This policy outlines the process, requirements, and terms for ordering custom cakes.

**2. Payment Terms**

Payment accepted in cash or card. All payments must be made prior to pick up.

**3. Design Changes**

- **Minor Changes**: Minor changes to the design (e.g., color adjustments, minor decoration changes) can be made up to 1 week before the event.

- **Major Changes**: Major design changes (e.g., changes to the structure, theme, or size) must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance.

**4. Refunds**

: We hope you are completely satisfied with your package from Delicate Delights Baking Co. Due to the nature of our fresh baked goods, there are some restrictions regarding cancellations and refunds. Refunds will be subject to the owners discretion. Refunds will not be issued for orders that have been cancelled within 48 hours of preparation. Refunds requested due to decorating style, color, general design will not be accepted. If unhappy with any of the designs upon pick up, we may be able to make adjustments if time allows for a change. Refunds due to quality of flavor will not be accepted. Once our baked goods are picked up, we are not responsible for any damages to your product. Refunds will not be issued after the product has been fully consumed.

Refunds are to only be issued within 48 hours of pick up and will be for store credit only. No cash refunds will be issued. For wedding cakes, please refer to our wedding cake policies as well.

**5. Delivery and Pick-Up**

- **Delivery**: We offer free delivery services within Alva, OK. Delivery charges apply based on the distance outside of Alva.The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

- **Pick-Up**: Customers may pick up their cakes at our pick up location. Once the cake leaves our premises, the customer assumes all responsibility for the cake’s condition.

- **Delivery Times**: Delivery times will be scheduled in advance and must be adhered to. We are not responsible for delays caused by the customer.

**6. Allergy and Dietary Information**

- **Allergens**: We use common allergens (e.g., dairy, nuts, gluten) in our home bakery. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee that any cake is completely free of allergens.

**7. Liability**

- **Design Limitations**: Some designs may not be feasible due to structural limitations or food safety concerns. We will advise customers if their design needs to be adjusted.

- **Weather Conditions**: We are not responsible for damage to cakes caused by weather conditions after delivery or pick-up.

- **Photos**: We may photograph your cake for promotional purposes. If you do not want photos of your cake to be used, please inform us during the consultation.
